Has anyone used the voucher yet?

I got mine yesterday. My name is on the voucher and I will be picking it up but wondered if I have to use it or if anyone in my group can. I have an AP that runs out in Oct. But if we go before that, Can I take a guest to use the ticket?
The fine print is a bit confusing. The registration said one per household and gave me the impression it was a free ticket "no strings attached" but the voucher says non transferable. I was hoping to take a friend. Can you help clear this up for me?

I know there are some people leaving in a few days, so reports should start coming in soon. :thumbsup2

Thank you Laurabearz. I emailed this question to the ePrize customer service but haven't heard back yet. I wish the registration had specified name on ticket. I know they have to prevent people from selling them but I think "one per household" is misleading and meant "a ticket" for anyone in the household. I don't think I'm the only one confused by this. You have to be a genius or a lawyer to understand the rules. I was too excited at the time to worry about details. I was hoping to introduce someone new to the parks.

I think we will just wait to see how it is handled at the gate when people transfer the voucher into a ticket. Unless they make you immediately go through the gate or do a fiinger scan which links your finger to that ticket, I am not sure how they could prevent you from handing the ticket to another member in your party.

imo, very clear as to the terms, got mine yesterday, was hoping to be able to upgrade it to AP, no dice (if they follow their terms:rolleyes1 )

While searching for ticket prices, in case I can't give my free ticket to our friend, I found the Florida resident ticket has similar wording in the restrictions. "Ticket is non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be copied or resold." But I can buy up to 4 tickets with my ID to share with friends or family. Perhaps this is the approach Universal will have with the vouchers and why it was one per household.
I understand the need to stop people from profiting from selling the ticket. I would understand if this doesn't work out in my favor. I just regret that I may have ruined someone else's chance to win a ticket. I honestly wanted to take a guest, so today I booked two rooms at RPR for the end of April. If we don't know how the voucher works by then, I'll let you know.
