Has anyone used stroller connectors at WDW?

DH and I will be going to WDW soon with DS 4 and DS 2, and we're having a stroller dilemma because the DuoGlider we took last year (and were planning to take again this year) has recently bitten the dust .

I'm considering buying the Prince Lionheart stroller connectors and using them with two Maclaren Volos (Volos are WONDERFUL; our 4-year-old who normally hates strollers asks to ride in the Volo!). The convenience of having two singles but being able to hook them together for the brief times when one of us has both kids (while the other rides a "big" ride or whatever) sounds great, but is it too good to be true? I realize that we'd have to unhook them before folding to board the buses, but what other drawbacks might there be?

My other option is to bring one Volo and rent a single stroller at Disney. I'd like to just rent a double at Disney and skip the single altogether but we need a stroller outside the park gates for DS 2 who hurt his knee recently and is not the best hot-weather walker anyway!

Thanks for any input you can offer. I've been poring through recent stroller threads but could still use some help!

I have not used the stroller connectors in WDW but I have used them everywhere else. I have twins and I like having two single strollers so if my DH wants to do one way with one, he can. They work well. I think you would be very pleased. They are a small investment so why not buy and try them now? They have them at Burlington Coat Factory. I have debated on renting at the parks this sept. but I can still buy to cheap strollers and throw them away before we leave cheaper than renting for the 10 days we will be there. Not that I would do that but it is the way I have reasoned it.

Thanks, Carrie! It's good to hear that the connectors may be a viable option--we wouldn't be using them constantly but it would be nice to have them, I suppose.

We only have one stroller right now--the new one has been ordered but won't arrive till shortly before our trip so I can't try them out hooked together yet. I'll go ahead and buy the connectors so I can at least give them a quick try before we leave home, and if I don't like them (or if some reason the new stroller doesn't arrive on time) at least I can always rent in the parks!

I have not used the connectors at WDW as I just got them this spring.

However, I have used them at King's Island (amusement park here in Ohio) this weekend and they worked fine. I did find that sometimes the front wheels on each stroller got hung up on each other but a jiggle would resolve the problem. Maybe it's the strollers I have to connect.

It was so nice to have separate strollers and then when all the rest of the family went to ride the big rides I clicked them together so I could manage them myself in kiddie land.

I will definately be bringing them to WDW with us.

P.S. I got them at Babies R Us for 10 bucks or so.
