I was thinking about getting some space bags to store a few blankets and conforters in and was wondering if anyone has any opinions on them.

Thanks...

I use them for packing when we travel. We can take one suitcase for the two of us for a whole week and still have room for stuff. They are terrific.

I like them. We have the "manual" ones that you roll the air out of the bag. I've never used the ones that require the vacuum, though.

Does it leave everything all wrinkly? Do you think they would let us borrow a vacuum at the resorts?;)

my friend used them to store some sweaters and blankets under her bed...well, they exploded! i don't know exactly what happened, but they couldn't get the stuff out from under their bed! it was pretty funny...at least it happened when they were moving...they had to take the bed apart anyway...

Not really...but then again I tend to pack things that don't wrinkle for trips because I'm on vacation and I don't want to iron :)

It's really great for travel from north to south in the winter time. You can just stuff your coats in a bag, roll it up and the coats take up minimal space in the room or car trunk until you need them. Also good when packing things like bulky sweaters or sweatshirts. They "deflate" to almost nothing.
