Has anyone used polyurethane in the spray can?

I'm painting a step stool for DD and wanted to do the final coat in poly.

If you have used the poly in the spray can:

It's been a long time since I did that on anything. I was refinishing a small stool when I used it. I thought it turned out fine, but of course I wasn't looking for perfection either. Wish I could help more, but it has been at least 6 years since I used it.

I use it all the time and it works great! Just remember to spray on very light coats about two or three times and not one heavy coat. And lightly sand with 400 grit sandpaper in between coats.
