I posted this on the Universal board but thought I'd try here as well...

We're trying to decide what we're doing this summer, and I saw a great rate for the Hard Rock Hotel on hotelkingdom.com -- $279 club level with 4th night free. With the freebie on the 4th night, it's cheaper than the $230 club level rate I can get with the Fan Club rate. I'd love to hear if anyone has used this site before for Universal or off-site Disney hotels.

Thanks!

Hi,

Many posters on the Dis has used hotel kigdom with success.

I just wanted to mention to you to check quikbook.com. for rates on the HRH. I was checking quikbook yesterday and noticed HRH is listed as one of their hotels now. I have used quikbook before and been satisfied.

herc.

We have used them on each of our trips, and we will definitely use them again. Their customer service reps are great.

I used Hotelkingdom last year and was really pleased with the service. I will definitely be using them again, and not just for trips to Orlando.

I've used them, and I booked our night at Clearwater Beach through them for this trip. No complaints here!

We used them when we went to Orlando in Dec. They have great rates and we stayed at a very nice place. The only problem that we had was when we called to verify that the hotel had our requests in order (we requested a crib and 2 rooms close together), they only had one room booked for us rather than 2. (Of course we waited until 2 days before we left to call!!) They had to scramble to accomodate us, but we wound up getting a nicer/larger room than we had made our reservation for and paying the same rate. I think that this was a fluke mistake and I believe that it was on the part of the actual hotel and not hotelkingdom. I would still use them again--I would just make sure that I called ahead to the hotel to make sure that everything was as you requested.

WE have used them 3 yrs straight for our night before going to resort hotel and have never had a problem. They are usually the cheapest rates as well.

I looked at the Hotel Kingdom website and saw they had Universal Hotels for a lot ( can't remember the rate). I want to use the Entertainment Card and I hear the rate is $125. Is this too good to be true?
