Has anyone used Dreams Unlimited to help plan their honeymoon?

Has anyone here used Dreams Unlimited? If you have were their services useful?

Thanks
Ashley

I have used Dreams Unlimited to help me plan my 10th anniversary trip back in 2001, and I will once again be using them for my 15th celebration in 2006. Cathy Miller is my agent and I'd like to recommend her to you. She's a SUPER agent and is very quick to email you answers with any questions you may have. I LOVE the fact that she makes all my PS ressies so I don't have to use all the time off my calling card. :p
ALL Dreams agents are GREAT about finding deals for their clients and will let you know as soon as something comes up.
I will leave you a link to Dreams Unlimited below and don't forget to request Cathy Miller as your agent. You can do so in the box where you have to list everyone in your party visiting Disney.

Have a GREAT time planning!

DREAMS UNLIMITED

Nope. Don't trust them. Prefer to plan it myself so I know its done right.

I have been working with Dreams Unlimited and I have loved it so far. I haven't finished the entire process as my wedding is not until June, but they have notified me when rates change and new codes are available and my agent is constantly updating me on new happenings in the parks and little bits of knowledge that are good to know. I did have to change my reservation and it was a little crazy then. I went from a room only reservation to a package and I had to resend them 200.00. They couldn't just transfer my money to a new account. I hated that because I don't just have 200.00 laying around all the time. Other than that, though, I have been very pleased and would definitely recommend them to someone! Good luck

Just so you (and anybody else in the same situation) know, this is a "problem" with Disney, not DU. Room-only reservations, and packages, are booked in 2 different reservation systems, thus the inability to transfer money between the two. Regardless of whether you had booked through DU, another agency, or yourself, you would have been faced with the same dilemma. HTH!! :D

DREAMS UNLIMITED

Be sure to listen to Denise, she'll help as much as she can... She sent me to Dreams Unlimited, and I talked to Cathy, but unfortunately, my FMIL was too skeptical and wanted to book our entire honeymoon through Disney.. GOOD LUCK!!!

DENISE: Check your PMs!

We have our May 2005 honeymoon (land and sea) booked through dreams. I have had no problems with them so far. I booked early, and I saved money booking through them rather than through disney. My agent is great about getting back to me and she sends little updates about park happenings as they come up. They came highly recommended by many people, eventhough I have to admit I was a little iffy about using an online agent... but so far so good...

Do you know what's odd about your last statement Nicole? Dreams Unlimited IS Disney. :rolleyes1 They are Disney specialists and do everything they can to save their clients money! Think I just read somewhere recently of someone saving about $800 with Dreams!! Isn't that awesome??
Tell you FMIL, she missed out on TONS of savings. :smooth: :earboy2:

Take care,

Denise :D

We used DU to plan our wedding site visit as well as our honeymoon and the trip to our wedding for our maid of honor and her family. We saved a TON of money compared to the package deals. We figured out that we would have paid at least 40% more if we'd gone with a package or rack rate on the room. Additionally, we didn't have to wait on hold and hope to get a better deal. Every time a better rate was available, our agent Tammy would send me an email and let me know that a refund was on its way (we paid for the honeymoon upfront). Dreams is wonderful and I would not hesitate to use them again. Tammy also took care of all the arrangements for priority seating which was also a blessing!
