Has anyone been to the following restaurants? If so, what did you think of them?

Grand Floridian Cafe
Tutto Italia
San Angel
Yak & Yeti

We have only been to the Grand Floridian Cafe, but it is one of our favorite restaurants!

We ate at Tutto in Jan--it was probably our best meal! San Angel looks very pretty inside, but I haven't eaten there and have heard pretty mixed reviews. Good luck!

We just got back yesterday, and we went to Yak and Yeti. It was good. Really good! I had the duck, and it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. And it was half a duck!

My DW had the Orange Chicken and it was delicious. And the desserts were wonderful! I liked it! I will go back next year.

Only GF Cafe -- it was lovely, relaxing, but still casual enough that we didn't feel out of place in our "park clothes". Our waiter was great, and when we commented on how good the coffee was, he said, "But of course, you always get the best coffee with me!" and pointed to his badge, which noted that he was from Colombia

Tutto Italia is awesome, we just ate there last week. Pics and reviews are on my signature March 29-April 6

Was just at San Angel Inn in march for dinner. Very cool atmosphere. The food was ok. The 3 of us all had the combination plate and the steak was horrible, but everything else was good. From the sound of it, one of your other options may be a better bet for a stand out meal.

We've eaten at San Angel once and didn't care for it:sad2: The atmosphere is nice, but we didn't think the food was all that great. They didn't seem to have much of a variety on the menu. Lots of people love it, but we really don't have any desire to go back.

We've eaten at them all. Yak and Yeti is the best of the 4, but we really love the atmosphere and food at the GFC.

We ate at Yak and Yeti for last X-mas day lunch and loved it. The food was phenomenal. We ate upstairs at a window table which after looking around I thought was one of the better locations. Some of the interior tables had kind of a dark feel to them.

The atmosphere is great at San Angel, but the food was so-so. We're going to Yak & Yeti in May I hope that's good. I've heard mixed reviews!

Yak and Yeti is very good. Tutto was excellent also.
I haven't done the GF.
San Angel Inn is probably my least favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is cool but the food leaves a lot to be desired.

I beleive that many go to San Angel for the views, we ate there once and it was definately not for the food!
We always got the the GF cafe, it is the best!
We are looking forward to Yak & Yeti on our upcoming trip.

grand floridian - the crab cakes were excellent, had a nice prime rib and the mini desserts were fun and delicious

Hello Chris, I was just reading some of your post seeing as we will be going to WDW 12/21 to 01/02/09. Any advise? We fly out of Austin as well. So on Christmas day did you have ts dinner in the park? Just trying to decide if dinner in MK is a good idea. thanks

We have eaten at Grand Floridian Cafe, San Angel Inn & Yak and Yeti. Of the three only GFC was good enough for a repeat visit. We have dined at GFC three times and always had great service and food. We will be dining there again in October.

The only one we haven't been to is GFC. As for the others...

Yak and Yeti - Nice atmosphere, nondescript food.
San Angel - Hit or miss for us. The dinner menu is better than lunch.
Tutto Italia - Tight seating, so-so food (bear in mind that I grew up in an area of phenomenal Italian food)

Echo Queen - We'll be there 12/18 - 12/28 this year. We stay off site and usually eat out one meal of the day. Last year we had originally thought we'd stay out of the parks Christmas day and then last minute decided to do Animal Kingdom. I called the night before and was able to book the Yak and Yeti lunch. It was their first lunch slot of the day, I don't remember what time, probably 11.

This will be our 3rd X-mas at WDW. I follow Tour Guide Mikes plans for which are the best parks to be in on any given day. His recommendations seem to come out right about at the 6 months out mark. It usually coincides well with when your allowed to start making ADR's for the trip. I think in general the MK is the toughest park to do X-mas day because it will almost certainly close at some point due to crowd capacity.

If you personal message me I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.

I agree we ate there in Feb. The food was not very good and neither was the service. We have Mexican rest. on every corner in Texas so are probably real picky when it comes to Mexican food.
