Its lime green in color and has an Upside Down 7-Up and has Caffiene!

It's called dnl and it's a caffeinated version of 7up. It tastes a little different but is still good.

dnL is the latest new product from 7up. As you may or may not have noticed, dnL is the 7up logo flipped upside down. Slightly corny, but clever, this brand is an attempt to create a product to bring attention back to the classic 7up brand. The flavor definitely resembles the original 7up formula, but it has a sweet citrus finish, caffeine, and a green color that are not found in the original version.

My 5 yr old DD liked it, I did NOT!!! Bleechhhhh!!!
Why do people insist on messing with a good thing??????

LOL how funny my kids have been calling it dnL just because we didn't know what it really was called :) We just knew that the dnL was 7up upside down.

for posting the Picture.;) Christine, it was released in Broward County first, but I check that Vendor In (Canada Dry) and they had it. I grabbed one, but the Produce Manager glumbed it from me.

Pepsi no longer owns 7-Up, the new distributors must be trying to "update " their image. I work in a grocery store and we don't have it here yet.

What happened to "never had it, never will?"

What do Nuns have to do with this new soda? :D:D:D

7up still is no-caffeine. This is different, a new brand. I read once where they did a comparison between this and 7up. Lemme see if I can find it again.

Ok, found it:
Senior vp marketing Jim Trebilcock notes dnL "is the flipped version of 7UP." Original brand 7UP is clear, caffeine-free and packaged in green bottles. In contrast, dnL is green, contains caffeine and packaged in clear bottles. Caffeine level is 55 mg per 12-oz, same as Dr Pepper, says DPSU executive. Trebilcock quips, in the past, 7UP touted <b>"never had caffeine, never will, but never say never."</b>

They had to do away with that slogan several years ago (in the late 80's) when they came out with 7-up Gold - a spiced version of the originial, that had caffiene.

That is Correct, Pepsi no longer OWNS 7-UP Canada Dry does!;) It was the Produce Manager at my store that told me about it...when it came in, I took one and was going to buy it, but he GRABBED it first!! ;)

The taste of cinnamon has always been as favourable one, used in foods of all kinds, from the eponynomous rolls to cinnamon toast to applesauce. Pepsi notices the heavy use of cinnamon in popular foods, and formulated 7up Gold. 7up Gold (which although seemingly an independent brand, is controlled by Pepsi) was a soda that mixed the flavour of 7up with Cinnamon. Needless to say, the pop folded quickly, and was pulled a few months after its mid-1988 release.
