Has anyone tried the LLBean "croc" shoes?

I noticed that LLBean has croc type shoes in their catalog and they are supposed to be made of a foam material like crocs.

Has anyone tried these? Unfortunately they're actually uglier than the original (didn't think that was possible), but they're about $5 less. The up side is that they have a dark purple color....a color sadly missing from the crocs line.

Any info would be helpful...but if I try them before getting any other info I'll give a report.

I just got a pair in Navy blue and wore them yesterday. I had no problems and I have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable and that fit my foot right. Plus they were on sale!!

Hope that helps.

Of course, I have never owned a pair of Crocs so I cannot make a comparison.

I converted my sister to a croc wearer on her last visit (she has a thing about ugly shoes, but agreed that for her the comfort out weighed the ugliness). She recently purchased LL Bean's version and said they are comfortable as well. (She would NOT keep something that did not feel good/fit right......)

Thanks! Now I lost my catalog and can't find them online...can anyone tell me what they are called?

Oh, nevermind....found it. They call them Coastal Clogs. You have to do a search for the name on the website or they don't show up. Unfortunately they don't seem to have the red ones my ds wants in stock until the week of our trip.

LLbean.com has had a free shipping code that I believe still works. I bought a couple of the canvas washed healthy bags and I love them. The free shipping code is 7352350

Happy shopping!!

I have these as well as my DD(8) and DS(12). I LOVE them! Wore them to the county fair walked miles on crushed stone w/no problems. My DKids's did the local six flags park and a water park also and loved them. They both said "these are going to WDW". (9days!!!-trip right before school starts)
