Has anyone tried Rubbermaid water filter sport bottles?

I have a couple of these that I use for Crystal Light. They don't filter water. It's just a plastic straw inside. They also can leak if tipped upside down. I think I paid about $3 for it at Target.

Hi, I did have a rubbermaid bottle last year with a removable thingie filter in it. It did leak, too, and then I lost it somewhere.

Not going to replace it.

The bottle I'm speaking of is:

"Customizeable - just remove the straw and snap in the Rubbermaid "B" filter"-----from the website.

:( If they are as leaky as these two posters describe, I don't think I'll be buying them. Do the Britas leak as well?

I have not had any trouble with the Brita bottles leaking. :)

We used the Brita bottles on our recent trip thanks to a tip on the DISboards. They were great. No problem with leaking, no problem filling them in the parks. We did not like the taste of the water at WDW so we were thankful to have them. Saved us alot of money too. I purchased them at Kroger/Kessel on sale for approx $7.00 (can't remember exact amount). I would highly recommend them.

They usually run a rebate on them as well at the end of summer. Kohl's have them and often have them on sale for $4.99. When you get one make sure that you get an extra filter so that when yours is used up, you have one on hand!

I'm ALWAYS in Kohl's! I love that store. I'll watch out for the sale. thanks!
