I'm not sure where to put this question. I was wondering if anyone tried priceline for their hotel stay? If so, which areas did you select, what was your bid, and what did you get? Thanks so much! :)

We were there last summer but did not use priceline. We are a family of 5 with very specific ideas about what kind of accomdations we want. If you have any other questions though, I will try to help.

We are going to Williamsburg over Memorial Weekend. We got the Radison hotel on Pocahontus Drive for $264 for 3 nites. I think this was a pretty good price. We plan to spend most of our time in parks. This is 5 min from Busch Gardens and 10 min from historical Williamsburg. Here is a site that helped me plan.

We got the Embassy Suites in Williamsburg for $79/nite through Priceline. We thought that was a GREAT deal. We decided to stay an extra night and had to pay the rack rate of $189.

Hi!

Living right around the corner in Yorktown maybe I can offer a little advice. I believe if you check the Virginia tourist website they did have some deals going with local hotels, Busch Gardens etc.. Also, the Hampton Inn had some great "Hit the Road" prices listed too. I hope you enjoy Williamsburg and Busch Gardens-they both are beautiful. Come see us in Yorktown too! Any particular question, I would be more than happy to try to answer.

:)

Thanks, I'm surprised that I got so many replies!:) We are going down on the holiday weekend also. I've been so tempted to try priceline, for a vacation. The sites recommended should really help.

We want to take atleast one day for Busch Gardens and one for Colonial Williamsburg. The Trellis restaurant sounds wonderful too, we may try it for lunch. I'm so excited, can't wait to look at all of these sites!:)

We'll be there 5/16-5/18. Anyone know anything about the Comfort Inn Historic? We have reservations there for $58/$67 and also reservations at the Courtyard for $94. I know the Radisson is sometimes a winner for 3* at Pricleine, but someone who stayed there wrote a bad review. We have 3 adults and one child, so I don't dare use priceline. Plus we need three rooms. Hoping the Comfort Inn is clean.

The Trellis is wonderful, my favorite! Check out their web site for the menu and don't forget to get a big slab of Death by Chocolate!

I also would highly reccomend Embassy Suites!!! We have stayed their several times and the hotel was excellant!!!
