Has anyone tried kat koras restaurant

Wolfgang Puck was an original Iron Chef on Iron Chef America, too, along with Bobby Flay and Mario Batali. His first and last battle was against Masaharu Morimoto. Puck won, but declared the battle too stressful and retired, and Morimoto took his place.

I would bet a significant amount of money that at least some people who hear about Kouzzina assume that Cat Cora actually works there, especially since it's her only full-service restaurant.

Yeah I named those three since they are all in Orlando and they were all "Iron chefs."
Emeril was an Iron chef in the White house battle for some reason.
Puck you explained.
Most people forget Todd because he does not like to talk about it and Iron Chef USA failed miserably. It seems in career nosedived after that.

I wonder how many people that go to Kouzzina have any idea that it has anything to do with Cat Cora or even who she is.
It was not the reason I went even though I knew who she was.

I do agree that many people who are not on these boards may think that she would be there.
How many rubes go into one of these celebrity chef restaurants thinking they will be there.
I would say many.
In many of these places the standard answer is they come in once a month even though they may only be there once a year.

Well we have a breakfast lined up in November at Kouzzina's. I looked at the menu and it seemed nice. Has anyone been there for breakfast? We are very adventurous eaters. I do like good coffee and I've always found that in Greek restaurants. I'd love to hear about your meal there.

We were there in July/Aug and it was our fave breakfast we had. I had the Kouzzina stack. Poached egg over a sweet potato hash and an artichoke spread. My husband had the orange granola pancakes. It was wonderful!

Hi Tinkh!
Thanks for the info. I was just reading the boards and saw your answer and I thought oh good, I'm going to cut n paste this menu item suggestion...then I looked up and saw it was an answer to *my* post, :rotfl:

I really need to keep track of these things!

We ate at Kouzzina on 9/10/10. The breakfast was wonderful! We both had the stacked breakfast. Sweet potato hash (with onions and red pepper), two poached eggs on top and a really good artichoke spread with feta on top of the eggs. I hate feta but loved the topping. The meal also had two pieces of toast (I subbed rye for the olive toast) and either chicken sausage or bacon. They also had pressed pot coffee which was really good! My mom and I went to Fultons for lunch and it was awful. Wished we had gone back to Kouzzina again instead!

We ate there at the end of July and LOVED it! It is now on our "must do" list for next year.

DH had the whole fish and it was excellent. I had the trio sampler and it was really good.

Plus, we had the calamari for our appetizer - just might be the best calamari we ever had. SO GOOD! :thumbsup2

To the OP - you will always get good reviews and bad reviews for EVERY SINGLE Disney restaurant. Your best bet is to look at the menu and decide if it appeals to you. If it does, give it a try and make your own opinion!

(Plus, I LOVE watching Iron Chef!)

I have not been yet, but I am hoping the food is at least decent. I know it will not be the best Greek food I have ever had, since I grew up Greek, but I am hoping it is at least decent. The menu looks really yummy, just wish they had dolmades!!
