Has anyone tried any of the no sugar added ice creams at Disney?

I see a few places have sugar free ice cream options. I want to continue eating little sugar while at Disney but still have a treat, so I was wondering if any of the options are good.

The NSA butter pecan is a no- go for me since I'm allergic to nuts, however.

I see a few places have sugar free ice cream options. . .

1) One needs to review the ingredients carefully.
2) The "no sugar added" are not always sugar-free.
3) It might be sweet ingredients not requiring adding sugar.
4) The nasties (calories, carbs, etc) can still be there.

Definitely be careful with sugar-free items like ice cream...sometimes sugar is replaced with sugar alcohols which can have unfortunate stomach side effects when consumed in larger quantities.

I've had the sugar-free vanilla and taste wise it's fine, but only had maybe half a scoop.

This part is true. I've often asked CM's if they have the no-sugar added ice cream at their location they'll say, "no we don't have sugar free". I always specify that I'm looking for no sugar added not sugar free. Sometimes that helps but most of the time it still confuses people.

What I can tell you is that I've had the no sugar added quite a bit. Almost, if not all, the no sugar added ice cream is Edy's brand so if you want to check the ingredients look on their website. As far as taste, I actually ask for the no sugar added because I prefer the taste. The regular vanilla is Edy's Vanilla Bean and while I love vanilla ice cream, ironically I detest vanilla bean (I guess my tastes are not as refined ;) ). It doesn't bother me a bit, although I can also use artificial sweeteners without a problem. If you want to test it out before your trip I suggest getting some Edy's and trying it at home. You can probably test out a whole half gallon for what it'd cost for a sundae at Disney  Edy's and Bryer's are the same co, btw!

Yeah, I don't really have side effects from artificial sweeteners so that isn't really a concern. Like you, I actually prefer the taste of NSA ice creams/ yogurts- I can't tolerate too much sugar. I'm glad to hear its Edy's at most places because I really like their NSA options!

I have tried them before at Disney, not cause I wanted sugar free, but it was a flavour I wanted. It still tasted sweet to me, but for sure the ones that are sugar free could have more calories than the regular ice cream

the best is the no sugar added raspberry sorbet!! It is the best ever!!

the ns added strawberry bars at the carts are good too

LTT, CRT, Plaza Ice cream parlour (that's usually where we go......get it in a cup and they add chocolate Mickey ears ;) ), Plaza Restaurant also has it.....and ns added milkshakes

The menus at the restaurants say seasonal sorbets, so they might not be raspberry. We had mango at Brown Derby, also very good.

Thank you! We've never tried the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor so I'm thinking we'll hit it up next month!

I was actually going to try an ice cream cookie sandwich from the Plaza (I never got to try one at the bakery :() but they don't have the NSA vanilla and when I checked at Sleepy Hollow it looks like their cookie-wiches are made with soft serve now. Bummed cus I really wanted to try one but, like I said, I hate the vanilla bean ice cream!
Speaking of the Plaza, has anyone tried their brownie sundae/a la mode there? I'm wondering if the brownies are any fudgier/less cake-like than Beaches and Cream (or most Disney brownies for that matter).
