Has Anyone Travelled With Skydeck?

I HAVE LOOKED AT TRADING STANDARDS WEBSITE AND PUT IN SKYDECK AND NOTHING COMES UP. SAME WITH ATOL.
I AM NOT COMFORTABLE PARTING WITH MY MONEY .
I FOUND ANOTHER WEBSITE WHICH WAS RECOMMENDED BY NETTY CALLED FLORIDA ' R' US AND THEY ARE ABTA BONDED WITH A MEMBERS NUMBER. THEY WERE ALSO GOOD PRICES. I WAS QUOTED £2739 FOR A VILLA CAR HIRE , INSURANCES AND FLIGHTS
FOR 14 NIGHTS AT XAMS FOR 2 ADULTS AND 2 KIDS COMPARED WITH THE SAME THING WITH SKYDECK FOR £2349. I THINK THE £400 DIFFERENCE IS WORTH THE PEACE OF MIND AND F-'R'US HAVE SAID THEY WILL TRY TO MATCH THE PRICE AND I'M WAITING FOR A REPLY

I remember seeing on one of the consumer programmes, that to obtain a ABTA number, the company must have been trading for something like 3-5 years (showing a profit) before they will be considered for one. They said it is VERY HARD for new companies, as they cant obtain one for such a long time.

It could be that this company are "legit", but I think Im with you......its not worth the risk.

Hopefully though, they may come as established at Travel City in years to come.

The Florida r Us website has a very similar layout & contact procedure to Sky Deck's

I have looked up skydeck on Travel Trust Association and they are listed and have a good write-up.
They have been trading for over 10 years.

florida 'r' us have also been trading for over 12 years and yes I agree that the set up is almost identical.
The thing that swings this company in my favour is the fact that they are ABTA bonded.

They've quoted me £1399 flydrive/flight only - exactly £100 dearer than Sky Deck

I went on to the florida r us website for a quote and the e-mail reply came back from skydeck.co.uk , are they one and the same company?
It wasnt a bad price for 4 adults and 2 children next Feb £1760 fly drive.

that is exactly the same thing that happened to me.
i was recommended by Netty to try florida'r'us and skydeck came up but skydeck was cheaper and when i asked f'r'us if they could beat it they said sadly no!!
so i take it they are not one of the same.
having said that, the flight timetable and airline is the same.
very strange!!
i have bad vibes about skydeck but a couple of people have gone with f-'r' us and were very happy.
it will cost me £400 more with f'r'us but i think it's a good price anyway and i will have peace of mind.

I got another email today off "Skydeck!" with a offer, not sure,what to make of them!?!
there prices seem to be very very good,but i'm not sure i want to book with a company i've never really heard off before!

MY E Mail went along the same lines as yours.
Don't you find it odd that there is no 'phone number to contact them on?
Not only have i enquired on this site about finding someone who has travelled with them, but i have asked on other boards and no- one has heard of them there either.
