Has anyone stumped the 20Q ball?

I bought this diabolical contraption for the kids for the airplane and long waits in line for rides for our upcoming trip. I believe there is a little person in there with esp. Can't stump the thing and I have been trying! Today that thing got teaspoon, carpet, dragon and hairbrush. How does it know! If you stumped it tell me how! No cheating!

That is one of the products that I sell in my store... We have one of everything on display including this little evil bugger. Let me tell you ITS ALWAYS RIGHT! I havent stumped it yet! Makes me feel inferior. haha

Apparently it does have one downfall. It couldn't guess 'booger', but then, the kids weren't sure if that was animal, vegetable, mineral or other.

Funny story coming:

One day Dh and I were in Wal Mart in the toy section. I saw this and said to him "have you ever played with this thing?" He replied "No, what is it?" So I explain what it was and told him to think of a thing and then I'll ask him the questions and he'll answer. I didn't know what his word was at all. So end the end the game ask if He was think "BREASTMILK" When I saw that I started to laugh because I'm sure that my dh wasn't thinking about that. So I told him what it said and what did my dh do. His face turn bight red and he left the toy section as fast as he could. I ran after him asking what was his word. Of course he was thinking the word "BREAST"!!! Of course now the toy is pure evil!!!

We stump that thing once in a while.

It does get the right answer most of the time, but sometimes it's way off, like when it said "bike" when dd was thinking "kite". (altho they are both playthings, so kind of close). Other times it's super close, like when it said "snowboard" for "skis", and "clydesdale" for "pony", so close I'd call it correct.

It is a little freaky how well it does.

We've stumped it on little things!! I think Hairbrush was one - I know a mathmatician invented some kind of logic, dh was explaining to me how in the world it couldnt guess a simple thing, but could get the more complex ones, and I would wonder why it didnt ask other questions!!

DS was upset it couldnt get lacrosse, but did get something close...

I've had one for a year and I have only stumped ut once, and that was with "jackhammer". It is an amazing little toy and love playing with it every so often just to keep my ego in place.

We have stumped it a couple of times. It didn't get 'unicorn', and there were a few others that I can't think of right now.

It did get MICKEY MOUSE!!!

It is funny how they were hard to find last Christmas and plenty this year. We stumped it on unicorn too. It got manatee with us also. My mom played it a few times and was really freaked out. Kept saying how does it do that?

One of the guys in my improv group brought a 20 Q game to workshop. We were able to stump it right off the bat with "20 Q game". As amazing as the logic was in the game, self awareness wasn't programmed in. <G>

We also stumped it with a surgical procedure of a rather sensitive nature.

This was a constant activity for my girls (8 & 12) on the bus. We did stump it a few times but more times than I can count we would just shake our heads and sigh
