Has anyone stayed on points in New York City??

I believe it is a Loews???? Just curiuos if anyone had any feedback on that hotel. My daughter went to NYC this weekend for the first time (the rest of us have never been) and LOVED LOVED LOVED IT. We are about 3 1/2 hours away....thought we might go in the future. Thanks for any tips/advice.

We are staying at the Lowe's on points in July. We have not stayed in that hotel before but have stayed in others close by. Great location for activites with our 2 DDs. Are main purpose of the trip is to see The Little Mermaid on Broadway but there are lots of things near The Regency.

It was a ton of points (190ish for 3 nights) but we needed to use or lose the points and did not plan to get back to WDW before the points would expire.

I will happily post about our stay when we return.

Thanks. I would want to stay close to where everything is too. MY daughter stayed at a Courtyard Marriot right in Time Square and they walked to see a broadway show. Yes - it is a ton of points plus the $95 fee. On the other hand the rack rate for our room was about $750 a night so if you use the "points are worth $10" formula it is not a horrible deal. I work in the travel industry but there was very little discount available for a summer booking so using the points worked for us.

I will definately post a review when we get back. We are so excited to see this and it is the first time that our girls have been to NYC (they are 9 and 7yo).
