Has anyone stayed in SSR at congress park recently?

We have Congress Park requested for a December trip. I know the construction for the new bridge has started... Has the construction negatively effected the DTD view (for units with a view)? If so, how much? Debating on whether to change my request to Grandstand for ease of walking to DTD...But would stay put in CP if the possibility still exists for a great DTD view. Anyone stayed in CP lately that can chime in?

If you have concerns, now may be the time to try a different section.

We haven't been there since construction started but since the bridge connecting SSR and DTD will be located far to the left facing DTD I can't imagine it would obstruct any view. The convenience of the walkway is gone but I believe that you would still have a great view from any location in Congress Park with a DTD/water view.

I say that because last time we were there I requested Congress Park building 1100. We got our request and the room had a total tree/sidewalk view, no water could be seen. We got there early enough to go back and asked nicely for a water/DTD view and got it. If view is important to you be specific in your request up front.
