I love the decor of Bocca and would like to stay there on our next visit. We did reserve a garden view. My concern is that most garden views may face the pool. Are there other garden view rooms that don't face the pool and might be considered quiet?

We stayed in Boca Chica garden view room last summer and really enjoyed it. We actually enjoyed having the view of the pool and the Main Building. The grounds there are very nice. We did not notice any noise problems with the location of our room. I will say though that we were on the top floor in a dormer room. So you may want to request a dormer room, so that you are higher up and a little further away from the pool. Also, that pool is now considered the "quiet" pool, now that the new "rock" pool has opened.

We had a garden view room in Boca Chica that faced north. There was a grassy area, then off in the distance a little bit was Narcoosees. We could see the lagoon and the Contemporary off to our right. The north-facing rooms are really great!

Those north facing rooms are great. Very quiet. If you need the room numbers for those rooms, send me a private message (PM). :)

We stayed in Rm. 8312 Boca Chica which faces the pool. Our room was 3rd. floor and close to the entrance of the building...actually it was almost right over the entrance. We found it to be very noisy as the carts that bring supplies and other service vechicles parked & unloaded there. These carts start running very early in the day.

Our view had a tree almost in front of the balcony (which we did use every day!) so we had a partial view of the pool but it was pretty because the tree gave us some privacy while we were sitting out.

As you move away from the middle of the building (which is where the entrance is) to either of the ends of the building it would probably be more quiet.

As far as being a "quiet pool" that really wasn't the case noise wise at least. There is a ping pong table there as well as a bar which during the 11 days we were there was busy well after 11:00 at night and the noise did carry to the room. (It was January and it looked like a lot of convention attendees were staying there) There were also many children using the pool. I'm not sure why people say the GF isn't kid friendly...there were a lot of them and they looked like they were having a great time!

If you are an early riser who likes to swim the location is wonderful! Mom & I went swimming just about every day and it was a quick elevator ride down and in the pool! We had the pool to ourselves most mornings it was beautiful!
