Has anyone stayed in a 2br V or S at AKV???

Is so what did you think?? Did you enjoy the stay despite "the view" not being of animals???? Would you stay there for two nights vs. staying in a 2br lockoff at OKW?? Thanks

I love OKW and AKV..my 2 favs

Either resort would work well, and if I stayed at AKV again I would not pay the extra points for a savana view, I enjoyed the pool view, the animals can be seen all over that resort.

I like OKW because of the boat to DTD and the light colors, and we love their slide!!

Yes we stayed at OKW for 8 nights this summer. We just bought into AKV in late Aug. but have not stayed there or been there ever. I have two nights scheduled in Nov. at OKW staying at SSR 5 nights preceeding OKW. I am on the wait list for AKV for the same two nights we are at OKW. I went on the waitlist for AKV for all 2br categories.

I think you will be happy at either, you are familiar with OKW, so AKV gives you a different trip..good luck on your waitlist. If you get a pool view you will be fine

As you have stayed at OKW before and have not been to Animal Kingdom Lodge I am sure that you would really enjoy staying there. We loved our stay at AKL for the first time in April 08 but we did have the savannah view. It was great waking up, standing on the balcony and watching the giraffes walk by.

We stayed in a 2 br standard view and we loved it. We were able to walk out the door to our room and go down the hall a little to see the animals. We had a really nice pool view.

We have not stayed at OKW yet, though so I cannot compare.
