Just booked holiday number 6!

We're flying out on the 25th March for 13 nights staying at the Wyndham Palace hotel. Has anyone stayed there and can provide me with info?

Booked on a whim! No idea what it's like. Any help at all????

I haven't stayed there myself, but I did some searching for a friend a while back.

I found this thread here on the DIS. The info is almost two years old, but I don't think things have changed much, if at all, since then.

Here is one of the official sites and here is a page that does some neat little 360 degree photos.

The Outback Restaurant in this hotel is one of Jana and myself's favourite places to eat in WDW, it's a REALLY good steak restaurant. It's featured in the entertainment book and the saving at this restaurant alone usually pays for the book :D .

Hi,
This is first time on this board but just wanted to let you know that we got married at the Wyndham Palace May 03 and are going back this May. I have read loads of bad reviews but we thought it was absolutely beautiful and it's situated across the road from downtown disney what more could you want.

Thanks Kirst,

We chose the location as it's close to DD. We're both night owls with no kids to worry about and rarely done for the night if the parks close at 9. We love to pop over to DD or PI for a drink and of course this way, we both get to drink and then just walk home.

We stayed at the Courtyard over the milennium (by accident really not choice) and really enjoyed the location and now it's our first choice every time.

I will be staying at the Wyndham for 3 nights from the 24th March! We stayed there last year for 3 nights and found it to be very convenient and a perfectly nice hotel, if a little 'business' orientated. We were too busy to try out any of the facilities but we loved being so close to DTD.

Wow, what a co-incidence. See you there then! You can't miss us. Big grins, red messy hair(me), short red crew cut (DH) flying out of Manchester with Virgin.

I'll look out for you. I'll be there with my three kids (all taller than me!) visiting my oldest daughter who works at Universal.
