Booked the jungke Rick room as a lark for one night as I think my 7 year old DS wd love it. Wd love to hear of people's experiences!

I stayed there when I was around that age and thought it was really cool! We weren't in that room though. I think we stayed in the Traveler's Suite? I just remember a really red room and two of the largest beds I've ever seen inside.

I stopped there for dinner on my way to Yosemite. Very cool looking place! If you like garish over the top decor, which I do.

I'm from Santa Maria which is not too far from Madonna Inn and we visited before the Inn opened to the public. I can vividly recall the waterfall wall/urinal in the men's restroom!:-)

We also stayed in the Mountain Room for our 1st Anniversary - yes, everything is over the top "hot pink" but it's an experience! We still have our hot pink Madonna Inn can opener from 30 years ago! Quality products!!

I've peed there many times. My uncle stayed in one of the themed rooms after my grandpa's memorial service 20 something years ago. The cafe is decent.

We stayed in the cave room about 15 years ago. Not for the claustrophobic! It was a nice stay, the furniture was extremely outdated! Hope they have upgraded since. Breakfast was awesome. You should have a good time.

Years ago, in the late 70's, we went there on our way during a trip up the coast & Yosemite, when we stopped there, and a bunch of us women went into the men's restroom to see the waterfall. This poor guy walked in, stopped dead still with this confused look in his eyes, walked out, looked up at the sign to the room.... it was so funny. We all left, of course, but poor guy had to wait for us all to file out while we were laughing so hard. :) The women's restroom is not as 'interesting' as the men's room.

My parents stayed in that room on one of their "wicked weekend" getaways back in the 80's. :)

Stayed in the "matterhorn" room for two nights of our honeymoon in 88.
