i just noticed sky auction is now posting fantasy world for 2006 and i am wondering if anyone has stayed there yet

Be careful: most of those skyuaction listings are bid per night, and are not particularly good deals---the minimum bid is 40, and the taxes/fees are 32 per night, and that's in low season. You can do just as well or better (and have a cancellable reservation) at hotelmartusa.com.

I currently hold a reservation there, but am probably going to spend a few more bucks on a room at Cypress Pointe. Just haven't gotten around to cancelling one and booking the other. I'm also hoping for somethign on skyauction, but want to make sure I have an acceptable cancellable backup, just in case.

The senese I got from the reviews was that it could be a mixed bag. Most people were positive, but only if the price was right, and there were a few negative reviews here and there. Looks like an older property that is relatively well maintained, but showing its age.

this is just me, but I don't know if I would ever book the "bid per night" auctions on SA.(at least for Orlando) It's $32 before you even start bidding!

If I only needed 2 or 3 nights somewhere, I would go with priceline, hotwire, or hotelkingdom.com.......something like that. If I wanted a week, I would book the "7 night" stay on SA. :)
