We are staying at CSR for 8 nights. Booked our Oct pkg. last January. Decided to extend 3 more nights. Used Hotwire and got Best Western on Hotel Plaza Blvd. I will love the location - walking distance to DD! Although I've seen this hotel many times as we drove by, I've never been inside. Can anyone who's stayed here on comment on this property?

We stayed here in '97 and '99 - it was Travelodge back then. Nothing fancy, but your basic hotel room. I think it had all the qualities of a Disney property hotel, maybe not a delux resort, but surely a moderate resort.
View - The best part was the view facing MK and Epcot. Could see the fireworks each night. Great view of DTD. We still felt like we were part of the magic. Balcony in each room.
Location - perfect walking distance to DTD and Crossroads shopping center. Car would not be needed and you could still get around nicely. Transportation to parks was just fine.
Althought it has been a while, we really enjoyed staying here and would do it again. :flower:

Stayed there a couple of months ago, enjoyed our stay there. Hotel rehabbed a year or two ago. Nice size rooms with balconies, some rooms with nice views of Downtown Disney and toward the Parks. About 15 minute pleasant walk to DD, about 10 minute walk to Crossroads shopping center (if that is the right name) and several restaurants. I would stay there again, especially if the rate is good.

If your room doesn't have a view of Parks and fireworks can go out on on exterior stairs at end of building to view fireworks.

hi, I had read that you could see illuminations from this hotel but, did not know you could see wishes too, is that right? :confused3

Stayed there June last year and was happy with the room size and amenities for the cost (low) Didn't upgrade to WDW view as we were never planing to be there at fireworks times, and the view across I4 was interesting anyway - could see the SkyCoaster at Old Town!:teeth:

Theoretically in walking dstance to DTD, but we never did! Used the hotel bus and taxis. (about $11 to the Boardwalk)
