If so, how comfortable was it?
I've just been in touch with my DVC broker, and she sounds pretty confident that I'll be able to make a booking next weekend at the 7month mark. (All fingers and toes crossed).
Anyway, it turns out that DVC points can now be used to book a Standard view room. The thought of 2 beds rather than a bed and a sofa, really appeals. As does the fact that it's less points than the studio.
On the flipside, there will be no kitchenette and we were hoping to self-cater a couple of breakfasts. Also, the hotel views are of a car park (as opposed to the Island or pool view we have requested for the studio).
I'm swaying towards the room since the $ savings will cover a few counter service breakfasts. Plus, we can admire the better views while we're outside enjoying the beach and pool. But if someone has slept on a sofa bed and can convince me that they reasonably comfortable, I may stick with the studio.
TIA
