Has anyone seen the disney movie THREE CABALLEROS

DS loves the song on the HeighHo singalong, and I was thinking of ordering him the dvd as a 'gift' from the new baby, for him to open at the hospital.

Does the whole movie feature Donald Duck? Or is it assorted disney animation? Donald is his absolute favorite, so that is why I ask.

I love that movie! The movie is about Donald- he gets a package (for his birthday?) and inside are the two other Caballeros. The tell Donald stories (the stories are "shorts" that don't involve Donald) and adventures that include Donald. Did that answer the question? It is about Donald, but there are a few small parts that don't involve him. It is a definite classic and I think your son will love it! I loved it when I was a kid.

Thank you for the reply! I am going to order it!! I just wanted to ask, we rented something at the video store (I cant remember what) that was old disney animation shorts, that showed donald on the cover but he was only in one little part, so I wanted to make sure it wasnt like that. DS still enjoyed that video, but I want something he will LOVE since he will likely be a little stressed out that week!

The Three Caballeros is so worth it! My DD5 loves it - it is her favorite! We are going to be staying at CSR so she is exctied about the Three Caballeros foliage and the Panchitos store and the whole! It is a great movie with great music and yes, lots of Donald Duck!

My DS2 is a Donald fan too! We have Three Caballero's and love it - great fun and very "old school" Disney. Not all Donald, but most pieces have Donald in them. DS loves it!

Just to let you know, we bought one DVD of Donald that we put away - old shorts and there is just a lot of hitting and aggressive (I hesitate to say violent, becuase that sounds so extreme) things that are funny to us as adults, but both DH and I were uncomfortable having our DS see some of it at his age. It wasn't the green covered one (I think that is Here's Donald), that one we like. Since we put it away I don't see it all the time. I'll check this weekend and post back. Just wanted to share and spare someone else from the same disappointment we had.

OK I just checked, the one we felt was too aggressive was Funny Factory Donald Duck Volume 2.

THanks Kristin. We have the green covered one too but that it it. I totally know the agressive thing! he has a donald duck doll that goes EVERYWHERE with us (he is holding it in my signature picture) but he tends to 'act out' donald cartoons with him and boy does he get that duck moving!! We had a hard time getting it through his head for awhile that while he was just making donald 'dance', those plastic feet are HARD when they hit you! Thankfully, he has gotten much better about it as he has gotten older and is better able to understand us! I dont know what is so special about duck, but it has been almost a year and he doesnt seem to be loosing interest!
