Has anyone seen Moana at the parks lately?

She's dropped off the app for about the last month, so I'm concerned she won't be there when we visit in April. She's my daughter's FAVORITE. Thanks!

She doesn't have a designated area (or backdrop) in Adventureland anymore, but I saw her near Tropical Imports last week.

Was she meeting guests? Taking pictures with anyone? I mean, it would make my daughter's visit if she could run up and hug Moana, but I was curious. Thanks!!

Not at the time, just walking through. My husband did not see her with a Cast Member either.

I saw her walk out of the Jungle Cruise area (where cast member come from) and she walked over underneath's Tarzan's Treehouse where she seemed to be teaching some weird yoga-type moves and talked with the kids. This was on Wednesday.

My friend complained that this weekend both Moana and Belle/Beast were only walking around and not stopping for pics. Is was there Friday and yesterday and didn't see either at all. Yesterday I spent awhile in Adventureland, I even saw a line I thought might be for Moana, but was actually the companion restroom. On Friday I briefly saw Gaston walking off-stage, who my friend didn't see at all. None of them were in the app. The app was also wrong about Town Square. It had Minnie and Daisy meeting from 12:30-1. At 12:10 they were out and CMs were say they'd be back at 1:15. I asked them if there would be no characters, or just no Minnie and Daisy, they said any characters. Then when the band performance ended around 12:40, Goofy came out. The app said Minnie wouldn't be back out until 5:00, but sure enough at 1:10, she came out with Mickey.

Oh boy! That does not sound good. I was looking forward to using the app to find characters. I assumed they would have the same times on the app that they have on those cards the Character CM would keep in their pockets.

She found us last week next to Aladdin's oasis and told us a story. She was absolutely ADORABLE.

Wanted to check back in on this Moana thread. She has been doing meets every day this week in adventureland next to Aladdins Oasis. She does have a line and sign books just like a normal meet it is not a roving around thing like Gaston.

We found that this meet was never listed on the character list on the Disneyland App, but several other characters did mention her and ask if we had seen her (Jasmine and Rapunzel both talked about her with my daughter and said she was around). We stumbled upon the location and asked the cast member when she would be back because the line was cut off already and she gave us a time. It seems she has a pretty normal schedule in that spot they just aren't advertising it.

By happenstance, we were walking by aladdins oasis on the way to the jungle cruise when I saw her doing a meet and greet-- unfortunately it was full and the line was capped but I asked the cast member that day when she would be back and he said 12:30. We did the cruise, ate lunch and lined up at 12:15 but we were still 7th in line...

Two days later we were passing by aladdins oasis again at the same time as the original and saw moana there again but the line was capped again, asked the cast member when she would be back but he said I don't know and wouldn't give any more info....

A bunch of CM's don't know. I asked one and she said she's been asking everyone and no one could give her an answer. So it seems she tends to pop up. We noticed for our trip it was on the 15's. So 10:15 was the first I believe.
