I'm here. New modem and all. (My new cell phone arrived today, too!)

Just not posting much. Going through major guilt all day.

But, the first DIS thing I did was, go to Dan's thread that I bookmarked! Holy smoley oley (ala Kelly's phrase), the first thing I noticed was the music came up right away and the number 'remaining' for download was just zipping by!

In some other areas, the performance of the actual site still plays a role. And, in my case, trying to transfer from one AT&T email account to the new one, took some time. Still need to re-enter my entire address book. And the installer didn't set up my account with outlook express so, I couldn't access anything until I called and talked to someone who walked me through it.

A little confusing and, the installer also told me that in a day or 2 I'll get notice that AT&T was bought by Comcast (?) or someone. Now what more changes??

Glad it went well, Kim. And glad the picture threads worked well. That is one place where you really will see big differences. And don't judge the speed of the cable access on the speed of the DIS site, it has been marginal for months. Check out your other sites you visit and you will see how it sings right along.
