I haven't seen Cath on here for a while and was just wandering if shes ok and if anyone had heard from her?

I'm fine Michelle - thanks, but I doubt very much if I'll ever be posting again on the DIS. I haven't posted anything since 31st October - that's almost 4 weeks.
Why??? Well, I'll be quite frank when I say I wasn't happy when the new mods were announced. I have always contributed so much to the UK Community Board with quizzes, some at short notice and also organising the Christmas Card list and I felt very overlooked and unappreciated. When the new moderators were announced I couldn't help feeling that a bit of 'cronyism' had taken over the DIS UK. It all looked a bit too cosy.

I thought I should just let everyone know......because there are some on the boards who already know this but don't seem to have the balls to answer your question.

I'm really very sorry to hear that Cath. I don't play a huge part on the UK Community board but I've always enjoyed your input and can really appreciate how you feel. But it would be an awful shame if you didn't contribute any more - you're obviously very popular and missed already. Really sorry!!

I'm so sorry that you feel like that Cath. I was thinking of you yesterday when I put my Christmas Tree up and I put on the Tinker Bell Bauble that I won in your last quiz - it looks lovely

I am so sorry to hear that you won't be posting anything on the boards anymore. I've always enjoyed your quizzes. However, I do agree that there appears to be a "inner circle" here on the UK Disboards.

I, for one, just wanted to let you know that I appreciated everything that you've done for the UK boards.

I too am sorry that Cath has left this way, but at the end of the day it was her decision. I know a lot of you are sorry that she has left under these circumstances. I too considered her a friend, to have a laugh with on here (especially when she was the Evil Quiz-Mistress), but I am dismayed at the comments about us new mods. I love being on here with you, I enjoy the fun that we have with the Quizzes, wishing each other a great time on their next holiday, sharing birthdays and Christmas too. I am like you, someone who loves Disney and having a laugh - I do not belong to any 'Inner Circle' or whatever and I'm sad that a few weeks ago you were wishing us all well as new Moderators

So as things have lost their Disney touch and become rather personal, I am closing this thread
