Has anyone rented this house

I was on vrbo and found this house, this is my first time ever renting a home but decided to try it after listening to everyone on here. How do I know it won't be a scam, what things do I ask, any help at all would be great, TIA

sorry i fixed the post, for some reason it would not let me insert a link, I'm very nervouse about all this, I did a land record search and it comes up the only property he owns. thanks so much for any help.

I've not stayed at this villa, but I have rented privately before and not had any problems. I don't think there is ever a guarantee with this type of rental that you aren't going to be ripped off - it looks a nice house though.

I hope someone can help you. You could always ask the owner for details of people who could be referees for him - people who can tell you what it is like because they have already stayed?
