Has anyone rented a Pal Mickey for the day?

It is $8, right? My girls want him, and we are only going to the parks one day next week. I am also thinking that since he is new, there will be glitches and bugs to work out and there will probaby be a new and improved model out in a couple of years (if he proves to be popular).

So an $8 rental for 1 day doesn't sound too bad. Has anyone else done this?

If so, do you know if you can pick him up at MK and return him at MGM?

If we fall in love with him and decide we want to keep him, can we apply the rental fee to the cost?

If we do decide to buy him, will we get a new one, of the one that they rented to us?

Yes, I have. We liked it but probably wouldn't buy one. Remember to squeeze him when he shakes to interact with him in the parks. They didn't give us instructions so it was a waste to us. No gliches if they give you a brief instruction lesson.

You can return him at any Pal Mickey rental place. Each park has at least one place. Resorts do too.

Yes if you buy they apply the rental cost to the price.

If we do decide to buy him, will we get a new one, of the one that they rented to us?
I don't know. I would hope so. Maybe someone else would know.

Thanks! I think I understand how it works now. I have a feeling that my kids will become 'so attached' to him that it will be VERY hard to return him. I guess Disney probably already knows this.
