Has anyone rented a LiteRider from Scooter bug?

We are planning a split stay; off site for a week, then on site for 5 days. DH will need a scooter for the duration of the trip. In the past, we used Scooter bug for on site, using WDW transportation only. But with the split stay, we'll need to have something that we can collapse to fit in a rental car. Scooterbug offers the LiteRider that appears to fit the bill. Any input?

Do you have the link to the one with that name "LiteRider"? I couldn't find it on their website for Orlando.

I've rented one like the "resort lite ECV" from another company but it was several year ago. We didn't have any issues with breaking it down and transporting it - but my husband and son did it for me. Some of the pieces are heavy so you might want to inquire about the weight in case anyone has an issue with lifting heavy things. That ECV is also smaller and lighter weight and less battery power. When I rented it from another company they recommended the person be under 200lbs - weight will affect the battery life and it may be more noticeable with the portable ECV because of a smaller battery. I was under the weight guidelines but still had to charge it mid-day. Other companies rent the same portable scooter.

I've had awful rentals and customer service from Scooterbug in Orlando- sounds like you've been happy with them to use them again but the ECVs they've given me were beat up and in ill repair...including one that rolled backwards/forwards uncontrollably because it would randomly think that switch to roll it freely had been pushed (when it wasn't). If you have trouble with what they give you, it could be because it's an actual piece of trash vs. the scooter's portable design.

Great information, thank you. We only rented once, and it was from Scooterbug, I think I selected them because they deliver and pick up at the resort and we didn't have to be present. Our sons will be with us, so heavy lifting will not be a major issue. Thanks again!

I rented the Pride Go Go from another company - it looks just like this one as @Lewisc pointed out - just looking at it I thought that's what it was.

Scooterbug is generally given poor reviews here on the boards, I wish Disney would pick a different vendor. If you're off-site for part of the trip then you have to have it delivered elsewhere or pick it up (not sure if you're in another hotel or a rental house, etc.). In any case you might want to consider other vendors - several are long time providers and people like them.
