The Winter 2006 edition of Vacation Magic arrived yesterday. On page 27, notice is provided stating, "Annual Dues statements for 2007 will be mailed the last week in December, following the Annual Meetings. The due date is Jan. 15, 2007, with a grace period through Feb. 14, 2007."
"To ensure timely receipt of your statement, please notify Member Accounting by Dec. 15 in writing of any address change."
There's more, but I believe this answers the OP's question.
Wow! Two whole weeks with which to make an on-time payment. Is this the norm?
The budgets were received by most before Thanksgiving so you should already know about how much you will be paying. The only unknown is any adjustment for the 2006 property tax estimate.
It's not like this should come as a big surprise. I don't understand why it's worth making an issue of? You can pay on-line in seconds using a credit card or mail in a check.
In my original post, I was only sharing information received in yesterday's mail, and I then asked a question. I was not making this an issue.
I'm sorry, but you would have no way of knowing I just bought my membership, and never experienced DVC annual dues billing before now. Hence, my question concerning the short interval for payment.
I have my DVC dues set up to be automatically withdrawn from my checking account on the first of every month. Should I expect that Jan 1 withdrawal to be pretty much the same as my Dec 1 amount?
