Has anyone received the DCL music Cd?

Hi,I just got back from a wonderful cruise with dh in december...been having serious withdrawal symptoms.

Well just got something to cheer me up in the mail It's called the shoreside survival kit. In it was my official Castaway club card,a DCL survey and a wonderful CD filled with island music....including the "when you wish upon a star" boat horn.....ahhhh. Makes you want to book again...these people are playing with our minds I swear!!!!Trying to convince DH to make the move....I gotta have a disney vacation in the works or else I feel like something's missing. I need to have a reason to save or else it ain't worth it!!!My DH thinks I'm going crazy and need to find myself something to do.

I would love that CD - hope I get one after my next sailing. They didn't offer that when I became a Castaway Club member

You are so lucky. I didn't get a CD. I want one now. I would probably play the boat horn on loop.

i disembarked on 12/4/04 and just received my CD three days ago. in fact, it's our screen saver now. the horn is not on it. i wonder why.

Wow, that CD sounds great! Do you get any Castaway Club stuff in the mail after your 2nd cruise? Last year after our 1st cruise, we got out Castaway Club cards, but that was it.

Our cd came in an envelope designed to look like a wooden box with the words "shoreside survivial kit". The letter on Castaway Club letter says:

"Thanks for sailing away to paradise with us! Now that you're back from The Bahamas, we thought you might like a little bit of tropical magic to help you get through your days on dry land. So, we're sending you this little piece of paradise we call the Castaway Club Shoreside Survival Kit ."

There are 9 items listed on the CD label:

1. Welcome aboard
2. Get the deck party started
3. South of the border sunshine
4. Carefree Castaway Cay
5. Serenity Bay while the kids are away
6. Day at sea daydream
7. A hammock in the breeze
8. Conch Coller chill out
9. The shores of Castaway Cay

We cruised June 2003 and did not get anything from Castaway Club. We booked for July 2005 and they had us down as members. I called the CC the other day and asked why we hadn't received our cards. It appears that they had difficulties with DVC members who cruised but never recieved their packets. I am now getting all of the stuff in a packet!!! I hope the CD is in it too!!!

Our first Disney Cruise was 12/19. We received a postcard in the mail the other day for a survey, but no CD or our Castaway Club Cards? Do you think they are yet to come? We are not DVC members....it was only a 4 night cruise..would that make a difference? I would sure love to have that CD. We'd be playing it ALL the time!
