Has anyone purchased the Mickey head fans / programs??

This weekend I had a good start on my Mickey head programs and I've hit some successes. For one thing, I re-noticed Mickey's ears are not actually round, but oval. That's even better for me because slightly flattened ears means the overall size of my fan ends up larger than if I had round ears. I'm slightly surprised Shelley makes her ears round.

The oval ears also allows me to naturally turn my ears text on angles. It's a bit hard to visualize. I can post my template when I have more time, but that might not be until after my wedding. It's coming up too fast and there's so much left to do!

:yay:

I am trying to read the program fan someone posted on the first page but I am having a hard time reading everything that was put on the fan. Can someone please tell me what exactly you need to put in your program?

Thank you very much :)

There is a scrapbook cutting machine out there called a Cricut Expression that has a cartridge of mickey lettering and shapes where you can cut out a mickey head up to 12" tall. The machine itself can be pretty expensive, but my local scrapbooking store has one they let people use, they just ask that you buy your own mat that is like $9. Then the best way to get the cartridge is either when they go on sale at a craft store or on ebay. Here is a pic of what the cartridge looks like

They also have cartridges that will cut out other Disney characters and the princesses. Their website is www.cricut.com but don't be scared by the prices on there, the stuff can be found on sale and ebay for around 35-40 a cartridge...much better than having to cut them out with an x-acto

Also, if you pop over to the scrapbook board (under creative community), someone may be willing to help you out with use of this machine.

Does anyone know of someone (ebay, etsy, disboards) with the cricut willing to print and cutout the mickey heads?

I have considered this over and over and over... but I am so afraid I will end up cutting out 80 mickey heads and they will look horrible.

Yes, if someone had a cricut expression, it would be very easy. Unfortunately, I only have the regualr cricut which only cuts out to 5". It's really a great machine. I have all of the Disney cartridges and they are awesome.

I have a cricut that can cut out a Mickey head the size of scrap book paper. If any one wants to send me thier paper I am happy to cut them out and send it back the cricut is not cheap and I might as well get as much use out of it as I can.
