Has anyone Pricelined a rental car?

I've been reading all these threads about rental car codes and the constant checking for lower fares. I'm just curious if anyone has used priceline and if it turned out to be a better deal. Can you get a 1 day rental or a full week rental of say a minivan a lot cheaper than booking with a code?

I've only used Priceline for short rentals (a couple of days) and have beaten anything else I could find. Every once in awhile I couldn't get a car through them; in those cases, I got something through Thrifty or L&M.
