Has anyone ordered room service while at a hotel near Disneyland?

I am somewhat preparing to pre-plan (sounds about as clear as mud, huh??) our agenda.

Last trip, we were really tempted to order room service from Millies(?) or whatever restaurant it was that had a room service menu in our room (Camelot).

Next year during our trip, we plan on definitely doing so, and I am curious if anyone has done that, and how it turned out. Was the food delivered promptly? Was it still hot when it arrived?

Thanks!!

We have a 4-night trip, so one night we think this would be good - probably the night before we go see Fantasmic : go to the park in the morning, come home after lunch, swim, order dinner, return to the park for Fantasmic.

We just got back from a 5 night stay at the Camelot. We ordered Room Service 4 out of 5 days (1 lunch and 3 dinners). The food was decent and well priced. There were lots of kids meal choices (pizza, kraft mac n cheese, chicken, grilled cheese) and they included a side (fruit, veggies, potatoes, fries) and you could add on a soup or salad for an additional .69 cents. The kids salad was the same size as the adult salad. The soup appeared to be a little bit less than the adult portion, but was still plenty.

The food arrived within 25 minutes each time (though the menu stated that it would take about 40 minutes). There was a 15% service charge added on and a 2 dollar delivery fee, so it does cost more than if it was in the restaurant.

Only once did we get soggy fries. The rest of the time the fries and onion rings were crisp and everything came hot and well packaged.

It certainly wasn't the best food I've ever had, but our feet hurt and it was convenient and it filled our stomachs for approx. $35-40 per meal (2 adults/2 children eating)

Any other questions?

That was from Millie's, right? I think I remember them being the ones with the menu's in the rooms at Camelot.

If so, thanks so much!!

We are staying at Hojo next trip, so it should be very quick to get dinner/lunch/breakfast delivered to the room. Just the convenience of being able to vegetate a bit in the room while eating dinner and putting our feet up is worth the delivery fee!!

Thanks for the input!

yes, it was Millie's.

We went to Mimi's one night for dinner and I thought the food was about the same quality wise. The big difference at Mimi's or Millie's is that if you go to the restaurant you get a lot more food choice.

One more thing I remembered is that on the Millie's menu in your room at Camelot, you can order breakfast, lunch, or dinner entrees all day, which was nice because we preferred lunch to dinner :)

Hope that helps.
