Has anyone ordered MagicBand skins from magicmyband.com?

When I typed magicmyband.com, it took me to magicyourband.com, which does appear to be the right site.
I guess it's all a matter of perspective. :)

magicyourband.com is the correct site.

I ordered three sets from there and they came out great. All two piece bands but I did that not because of fear of not working. I just liked they way they looked with Mickey showing through. Very durable, wore them all week (7 days), parks, swimming etc.

Sorry to hijack, but I have another question for you who have ordered bands from here. I'd love to do this but I'll admit I'm lost about how to do the custom thing. What did you guys use as images? Does it need to be an actual photo? Can it be something from online? How do I know what's good resolution or not? Any special sites where you've gotten images?

Please help this totally tech-challenged person make some great bands!
You can totally just get an image from online. The best images for a 1 piece will be an image that is very wide but not very tall. I saw 1 person do it from a Facebook Cover Photo they found online. That size image will work best for a 1 piece. I did custom images for mine so I used Photoshop. However the magicyourband site does have a tool online that lets you layer up to I think it is 5 images to customize your bands a bit.

Thanks! If anyone has ordered through this site. Coukd you post some pics? I searched the threads, but it looks like the pics that came up people had decorated themselves. I'm *no where* that talented!! Lol
Here's a link to my bands I did this year.

We ordered 5 of these last night....all custom. We leave in 2 weeks. I know that is cutting it close. I hope they arrive in time. I have a few questions for anyone who has ordered/used this product.....

1) How long did it take for them to arrive?
2) Did the 1 piece still allow the MagicBand to work? It covers the Mickey icon in the center. The website says it will still work. Just a little concerned.
3) Did they look as good as they do on the website?

I'm really excited about these! Hope they look as great as they looked when we designed them!

2 weeks should be fine. We typically print and dispatch next working day depending on how late we receive an order. We suggest allowing 7-10 days for delivery but it can take as little as 3. We do offer FedEx 2-day express service for anyone that wants to order close to their vacation date and we can ship direct to resort.

The one-piece design has no impact on how the MagicBand works, we've done a LOT of testing! :) Some people prefer to leave the Mickey logo on show whereas others like to use the extra space, it's just down to personal preference.

Most people tell us that the finished product they receive looks even better than on our website. Some web browsers, particularly mobile devices, show things a little less clear but this doesn't affect the printed output.

Always happy to answer questions here or via our website. You should also check out some of our DIS exclusive designs! www.magicyourband.com/thedis

Here are mine that I ordered from this site. The purple one was a standard option on the site. The other two I used the custom option to create. They held up great for the 12 days I was there.

Thanks so much for everybody's feedback, it's been so helpful! Just ordered mine too! 16 more days for us!! I chose a Frozen image for our birthday girl! She's getting so mad at us because we've told her we can't take her birthday off from work this year. She's going to be so surprised I can't wait!!!:bday::banana:

Those look fantastic! Can I ask where you found the images that you used? I've been Googling and trying to come up with some and just not getting things that are the right size.[/QUOTE]
I just Googled pictures. I looked for the highest resolution I could get, that helps to make sure it won't be a grainy picture. There are suggestions around resolution on the Magicyourband.com website to help. Any pictures that were too big or too small, I just resized in Photoshop. If the resolution is good, you can resize the pictures without the quality suffering.

I just ordered last night. I used the birthday balloon background and added text. I went with 2 piece as I figured i would find the separate pieces easier to apply.

You should also check out my fantasy bands. There are some great ones there and they are waterproof, last a long time!! We used them last year. Also ordered a few from dvc cover bands but liked the quality of my fantasy bands more.

Im here in disney now. I made a one piece and wanted to report that I had no issues getting in the parks with the mickey covered

no pictures here but I ordered one from their site (looks like spaceship earth but in pink) and I just ordered it for an old band to see if I would even like it. I got the 2 piece one- more of a preference for me than anything. It came so quickly, I want to say within a week (possibly less but I cant remember now) and was easy to apply and I think looks great. I will be ordering more for my actual trip

I just ordered three 20 piece covers last night. I liked the look at the I googled images and I used the + and - button to make it fit. You can also use the arrows to move the images all around. you can even turn the pic 90 degrees. This didn't always work. Many of my pics weren't wide enough or blurry. The process can be very time consuming. I spent hours on three bands finding the right images and playing around until I was happy.

I ordered ours yesterday. Can't wait to get them, DH doesn't know yet so I hope he likes it. I did the 2 piece in camo and his magic band is orange.

Mine came out great! BTW, I wear my MB "child size" and it still did fine. My trip is in November and. I will be able to tell if there is any tendency for the edge to peel up when they are in the small edgeless mode. I am thrilled with the appearance and it was easy for clumsy me to apply - I did choose the 2 piece.
