so you know how disney came out with limited edition figment and dreamfinder christmas shirts in 2013?
well i wanted to buy several of them as birthday/christmas presents but they were not going to come until after the new year which i thought was ridiculous and they should have had them out sooner so theywould come prior to christmas so did not end up buying them.

i see this website seems to have them but i don't know if its legit or if i'd be spending lots of money and possibly getting scammed.

its based in davenport (very familiar with the area as my family has stayed there since at least the mid 80's) and it does have a 1-800 number so it seems legit but i don't know. it could just be someone selling stuff out of their house.

its called "your wdw store"

here's the link http://www.yourwdwstore.net/Disney-...nd-Dreamfinder-Epcot-Holiday-Tee_p_25297.html

thus far this is the only place that i can find this t-shirt.
its not on ebay or amazon.

well i saw a thread that was started a few years ago that gives it extremely mixed reviews.
one of the major issues was outrageous mark ups although i'd be willing to pay more since i know its no longer available.
but the thread also talked about poor customer service and things taking forever to ship so looks like i'm not ordering from them.
oh how i wish i could find that shirt somewhere else.

I've ordered from them twice. Yes, the items are marked up (30%, I believe) but I was willing to pay. It took around 4 weeks for both orders to arrive, however, yours might arrive sooner as the items you want are no longer available in the park meaning the store has them in-stock at their facility. They had to physically go to MK to fulfill my orders.

Does it matter if its someone selling stuff out of their house? Most of Etsy, most of Ebay and some of Amazon is people selling things out of their own house. That to me, doesn't raise any red flags.

Anyway, that said: I just looked quickly at their site, and most of the items say clearly when they will ship. The website has the lock thing and it's an https, so that seems secure. They DO take PayPal as payment, so that would make me feel fairly safe buying from them. If they take longer to ship than you expect (and longer than the webbage states) you can open a claim with PayPal, who almost always sides with the buyer and get a refund.

I think this MIGHT be the place my husband ordered Haunted Mansion shirts last year the first week of October. We didn't get them until right before Christmas, which I wasn't thrilled with, but my husband didn't mind. And apparently, the website did say that they would ship in 6 weeks or something, but it was longer than stated. In the end it didn't matter, because we saved them to wear to MNSSHP later this month.

actually the link i provided just says http.
there is no s as in security at the end of it.

well i took the risk and ordered.
now i just hope the shirts come and are not damaged.
i did use my paypal account to pay.
i will be sure to update this thread when my items get here or don't get here.

hi there OP here.
i wanted to update you on my experience with yourwdwstore.net

i placed my order on 10/12/15.

i did make sure to read EVERYTHING in their policies terms and conditions section before i placed my order as i did not want any surprises since they are not a chain retailer like i'm used to doing business with.

i paid $39.95 per shirt and bought 3 of them so i spent $119.85.
they did not charge tax on top of that.

i am sure that they did mark up the price but i don't think they marked it up so much that it was price gouging.
although as soon as i bought the shirts i noticed that they marked the price up by $15!!! so for the next person that wants to purchase it it will cost them $54.95.

i chose to stick with the standard 7 day processing time for two reasons.
one i did not need the shirts right away.
two i found the charge for shorter processing time was ridiculous.

i chose fedex ground shipping which cost $25.25 which i did think was a ridiculous amount to pay.
i could have chosen standard usps but it would have cost about $22 and i know usps can sometimes take what seems like ages.

i also had to pay a mandatory $3 insurance fee due to my order total being over $50.

the total price i had to pay was $148.10.
a bit higher than i wanted to pay but i sucked it up and paid it anyways.

i paid via paypal so that if there was a problem i could dispute the transaction.

i received a confirmation email.

then a day or two later i received an email that said i had an "incomplete" order which meant that i had things in my shopping cart that i did not purchase in addition to the items i did purchase although when i looked i did not have anything in my shopping cart so that email did give me a bit of concern that something was not right but the email also stated that if i did not have anything in my cart to ignore the email and it would be fixed within 48hrs.
which i can only assume it was as i did not receive another email to tell me they fixed the problem.

on 10/19/15 so 7 days exactly from placing the order i received a shipping confirmation email.

my package was estimated to be here on 10/22/15.
but i actually received my package today 10/21/15 which was a surprise considering it was in memphis TN yesterday.

i find it odd that i chose fedex GROUND shipping yet how could my package possibly leave memphis TN at 3:53am on 10/21/15 and arrive in buffalo NY at 6:42am if it was GROUND shipping.
obviously it must have been sent on a plane in order to get to my local distributing facility that quickly.
so did i actually pay for air shipping?

at about 7:30am it was on the truck for delivery and as i live about 45 minutes from the facility i was not the first stop on the route.
i received my package at about 1pm.

it was in a fedex bag as many clothing items that i order from other retailers are in so pretty standard procedure and nothing to complain about.
the order was correct with the correct shirts and the correct sizes.
each shirt came in its own clear plastic bag.
each shirt looked clean (they are white so dirt would have been a big problem if not packaged properly)
each shirt came with the original disney tag although the portion that has the price on it that is perforated and can be pulled off was not present on any of them indicating that the company pulled off the price in order to keep the original price a secret which is a bit shady in my opinion but the obvious reason they do that is so then people cannot complain about how much the price was marked up.

overall i had a surprisingly pleasant experience with yourwdwstore.net in spite of reading so many horror stories.

i would reorder with them BUT i would only do so if it was again another item that was limited edition like the figment and dreamfinder christmas shirt that was only sold for a few days on the disney store website.
and even then i would only order if the price was not marked up to a ridiculous amount.

i would suggest that if you want to buy something that you know is currently sold in the parks that you use the walt disney world mail order service as they will not mark up the price and they will not charge an outrageous amount to ship it.

The person shipping a package has no control over how FedEx, UPS or any other carrier transports an item. If the shipping company's logistics directs personnel to include packages in a ground shipping order to be included in a batch that actually winds up on a plane, that's the way the package will be transported. It's not a guarantee that next time the item won't in fact travel exclusively on the ground.

I ordered a pair of Disney Crocs from this website in early September. I received them on the date promised. I had looked at these shoes during our July trip and regretted not buying them. I paid a little more for them than if I had purchased them myself, but felt the cost was fair for her work. I am a happy customer and would order from her again.

as i said i did have a very pleasant experience but also if you knew the crocs were still in stock in the parks i definitely would have recommended that you just use disney's mail order service so you would not have paid extra.
