Has anyone ordered a Disney Photomovie?

I did! It turned out really cute! I have 5 'chapters'....one for each park, and one of other places. You pick which resort you stayed in, and they'll show pictures of it in the background. I have about 65 photos in it, and they play the disney music and show photos/ride shots from about the parks in the background. Sometimes some characters pop up (like goofy) and clean the window to see the picture. Its really cute. I think its worth the $50. Probably could be made cheaper on your own, but not with all the disneyworld specific stuff. Anyway, just wanted to share in case anyone was thinking of getting one.

I saw the link for it yesterday--I can't wait to try it out! Granted, it's not cheap, but what a neat way to be able to share your trip with others, plus it's a unique method for memories.

We got ours last month as a family xmas gift. All I can say is: DEFINITELY worth the $$...

We just received ours and we love it. Just a few tips on taking photos....move up close or zoom up...don't be afraid to fill up the viewfinder with the subjects...they are really magnificent if they fill up the screen. The photos in the 'movie' mode of the PhotoMovie are not full screen and are hard to see if your subjects don't fill up the screen. In the 'slideshow' presentation they are full screen and appear 'zoomed' up very nicely. Overall they're both fun to watch.

I agree with poohstx about zooming in. We got our movie in the mail today. I am so glad I spent the money on it.

We got ours last month and have really enjoyed it. Not only can you get all your photo pass pictures included in it without having to pay for each individual picture, you can add so many of your own and put them in the order that you like. Also, at least for now, you can make a second copy of the dvd if your computer allows you to burn them.

Just got ours this week - it is nice. My only complaint was I misread the website. I was under the impression that all the uploaded pictures and photopass pictures would be in the slide show. I scanned and uploaded pictures from our first family visit in 1990 until now just for the slide show but only the movie pictures are included...... It is a really great souvenir.

That sounds really cute. I just made one on my own with pics from our trip and I love how it came out. I cry everytime I watch it. Found the perfect music, perfect pics, etc.. It took forever but is so worth it. Maybe I will do one of these someday.

The movie is 10 minutes and the slide show is also 10 minutes. However, it goes by so quickly it is hard to believe it's really that long...it's so enjoyable you hate to see it end!
