Rumor has it that some of the restaurants on Disney property are now switching over from cloth napkins to paper? I wondered if anyone has noticed that, it supposedly went into effect this past Sunday.. I am assuming to cut costs of laundering the cloth napkins etc, but that would definitely be cutting employees as well. I am thinking out loud as I post this, what about the trees??? Isn't Disney pro-green, wouldn't switching to paper hinder that status??

Just wondering what you think... healthy discussion is good... please no arguing..

No I haven't heard that rumor and it would be an ashame if it were true because the cloth napkins make a restuarant seem very elegant...even if it isn't an elegant one to begin with :goodvibes . I too agree with you on the whole "Save the Tree" thing, at AK don't they use recycled paper for their napkins and such, maybe it will be sort of the same deal :confused3

Well chances are there is no way it would be changed at CM due to the napkin twirling "game" Also my guess is Ohana wouldn't change it either. Will what and see if there are any changes when we go in March.

I can't imagine paper napkins being cheaper than cloth. Plus, yeah, not very "green" of them.
:)
