Hi I was just wondering if anyone had not had a pre reception and just left their guests to have a drink in one of the hotels while you were having your photos done? Would Disney allow this? We are trying (not very successfully) to not go too much over our budget and dont really think a pre reception is important.
Thankyou

hmmm maybe you can do a simple spread so the guests are not neglected...like just veggies and dip and some punch? That should keep the price around $10-12 per person.

I'm going to try really hard to keep to the food/beverage minimum....if this means only having cheese, crackers, and fruit available...i think i might do that!

how much time are you talking about....1-2hours or alot more

just wondering how long you plan to be away, cause if its an hour or so, thats not bad to let them go and hang somewhere but if its alot longer then id set something up for them like a boat ride on the water or mini golf or something....the boardwalk is a great place to just hang out
