happily!
I used white shimmer bridal illusion (108" wide), and had a 24" blusher layer, and 36" fingertip layer. Total length of tulle was 60", but you have to allow an extra inch or 2 for edging and attaching to the comb.
laying out the template
I made a template in Illustrator to get the radius I wanted, then pinned the template to the tulle in each corner, and trimmed...
pencil edging
I followed the instructions on the previously posted website for pencil edging. I used silver metallic thread and a small zig zag. If you want a more prominent silver edge, use a tighter zig zag (like satin stitch tight).
beginning the hand-gathering
I used double thread (knotted both ends together) to gather, so it would be stronger. Just whipstitch (?) and go!

attached to comb
After I gathered all the tulle, I knotted the end, then sewed it to the comb, bringing the thread around and through the teeth of the comb.

I'll try to upload some full-length photos tonight. If you have any questions, please let me know! It was a lot of fun making the veil, although it took a long time! The website says to add your embellishments before you gather the tulle. That does make it easier, but since my mom finished beading the veil for me, I had to finish the veil first. I did do the Mickeys before gathering the tulle, though...
full-length
good luck!

If I had to do it over again, I would!
