Has Anyone made their March Break 2011 Plans

We're all set ... flight from Buffalo to MCO, check. Two nights at AKL, Kidani, check. Five nights at Vero Beach, check. And then it's on to the Disney Magic for the Western swing ... can't wait!!

87 days! We're all set for a week in a Treehouse. I know I'm going to have enough winter by then. :surfweb:

Once we get Christmas and New Year's out of the way it will be time for serious planning. I love having Disney to look forward to after this holiday.

I was excited to get a Reservation at Le Cellier for lunch durig March Break just this past week. Can't believe it was free!

That sound awesome. We haven't booked - yet. There have been some pretty good deals out of Buffalo for the beginning of March Break. We are trying to figure out how to make it work. Maybe Santa will help?

I think I'm going to pull the trigger and fly out of Pittsburgh again for the 3rd time with the family. We live in Oakville so 4hr drive for us. It's a great airport as well. They have $69.00 nonstop flights with Southwest leaving Sat March 12 and returning Sat March 19th. Total is $159.40 with taxes.

I would love to be going on the dream. Was debating next Christmas for a land and sea but based on this past week - parks closing daily due to capacity, freezing temperatures to a point where waterparks were closed almost the whole week, and difficult travel at many airports.......I think we'll stick with spring travel!

We are flying out of Buffalo on Jetblue for $89 on the 7th of March and flying home on Airtran on the 18th of March for $89. Staying at Cypress Pointe, 3 bdrm for 11 nights at $710 all taxes and fees included! Doing Seaworld (Season passes bought last year) Discovery Cove along with Aquatica. Hope the weather is warmer this year then last March Break! Safe travels to all!

Looks like a change of plans for us. We were planning a week on an island someplace but due to the usual Christmas drama DH has decided that we will no longer be participating in Christmas at home. So that means a trip for next Christmas. Which also means we need to change up our vacation plans for this year. So for MB my DD and I will be going to FL with a friend and her son. DH will be staying home to work....:rotfl2: We have yet to work out the details. My friend is preparing to move in a couple of weeks and will be rather broke after so we are putting together a cheapo vacation. I just need her to fully commit to taking this trip with me so that we can book a flight....hopefully that will happen today or tomorrow. If she backs out I'm still going.

Any suggestions for cheap accomodation????? We can get a really good deal on Coco Key resort.

So it's just the two of you? Renting a home or condo through vrbo is super cheap but more so with multiple families. Have you checked the dolphin and swan deals. Any chance you are a government worker or teacher - they offer some great rates on this.

Where are you looking to go for Christmas next year? I want to go away too!

Right now it's my DD and myself plus my friend and her DS. My friend is not totally sure if she will go...she really wants to but they are moving and we all know how broke you are after doing that.

We thought Coco Key would be a fun place to just hang out which will cut down on expenses. I have looked on VRBO before for condo in Myrtle Beach but have never rented one. It's worth a look...we would need a pool for sure. I'm also going to look at Bonnet Creek but I doubt that we can beat the deal on Coco Key...it will cost each of us about $350 for the week.

Edited to add....I have no idea what we will be doing for next Christmas. I'm thinking that since we have cancelled our all inclusive plan for MB that that is what we will do for Christmas. I saw your other thread on the topic and this year there were a ton of sell offs for Christmas. There were 4 start resorts for as low as $550 plus tax departing around the 22nd. We already know that we can leave at the earliest the evening of the 23rd. I think we would like to be a our desitination on the 24th but we would also look at departing on the 25th. It will end up being what ever we can afford.....which might not be much since we are gonig to WDW for 2 weeks in August. That said we might end up making our August trip a few days shorter to get better priced airfare.
