I have been struggling off and on with my weight for years, I take it off and it very easily seems to come back on. I am trying to seriously loose about 30-40lbs. I was wondering if anyone on here has used Alli, how did it work and what were the side effects. Any advice or help would be great.

I did. I quit because my diet at the time was reeeeeally low fat. I think if you eat fat, it will help you. NO side effects except on time I ate a HUGE slice of oily, cheesey pizza. No I didn't "shart" but the BM later on in the day was orange and oily.:scared: You'd have to eat cubes of butter to have an embarrassing treatment effect. I did love the myalli.com web site. It was very helpful.

I know lots of people on it who like it. It does work! But it's expensive.

I have used it and it is somewhat effective as long as you don't expect miracles. It does require a diet change i.e. low fat. It can be helpful, but it is very expensive.

Thanks for your replies, I am looking for something to help in addition to diet and exercise, I have been sort of scared to try it because the side effects it lists are kind of gross and could possibly turn into an embarassing situation :rotfl2:  But I need something that will help me but not give me an uneeded amount of caffeine, I have a heart rhythm problem and I really cannot take any extra caffeine.
Thanks,
Kim

I just ordered some Alli the other day. I've never tried it. But there was a thread here a while ago with a bunch of people who used it and were pretty successful. I'm hoping to use it as a plateau buster. I've been plateaued for about a year and a half or so. I bounce the same 5 pounds around. Boing, Boing. So anyway, I'm hoping this will give my body a kick start. I still have about 25lbs to get down to a healthy weight so I'm hoping it will work for me.

Good luck with what you decide!
