hi, Just looking to see if anyone has had problems with getting the rate they have gotten online and put a credit card hold for.I have a rate hold on Doubletree Club and am worried about a surprise at check-in . The rate looks too good to be true? (49.95 per night) THANKS

If you did the reservation online, be sure to print out the document showing your room reserved at that rate. If they should try to charge you more, the documentation should resolve the issue quickly at the front desk. If not, I would ask for a manager and if that fails, dispute the charge as an overcharge.

It probably won't be any problem at all, but I always like to have a hardcopy of everything just in case. I was very concerned a couple of years ago about a long National car rental. I just knew we would return it and they would try to up the price (which was already about $1000). When the young man at the checkin gave me the receipt, it matched to the penny the cost I had seen on the internet.

I have reserved with this rate also. I printed my reservation information and plan to take it with me. I've stayed at the Doubletree Club in the past for as low as $42 (Hotwire) and have never had a problem with them at all. In fact, they charged a safe charge the last time I stayed there in February and when I checked out, I told them I didn't use the safe at all so they removed that charge. I think you will be fine.
