Has anyone here done the 14 day Panama Canal cruise?

Hello,

My wife and I are booked to do the 14 day Panama Canal cruise November 2020. Prior to this our longest Disney cruise have all been 7 days. We’ve been on the wonder the majority of our cruises, but wanted to know if anyone had information about ship board entertainment or dining. Most 7 days we’ve gone on seem to have the same menu as previous cruises just on different nights depending on where you dine, does anyone know on a 14 day do they just recycle the menu, so we will get the same menu twice during the cruise?

Also shipboard entertainment like shows, trivia, activities, etc are these recycled as well or are there more planned/unique activities for the 14 day itinerary’s ?

Our first cruise (ever) was a 15 night Panama Canal on Disney.

There will be the 3 standard production shows for your cruise. Plus, it's quite likely that they will pull out a couple of their less standard shows. Several individual entertainers (comedians and the like) will also be onboard. There will be a different show each night.

Same for the menus, the "regular" 7 night cruise menus will be there, plus 7 others. Now, some items may appear on different menus, but the total menu will be a new one each night.

There will be the trivia, and other activities, plus additional ones. More of the same thing, and, possibly new stuff.

You can look up the Navigators for past PC cruises to get an idea of what sorts of activities have been offered in the past.

There's lots more stuff than the Navigators there. Just take a look around. Both there and here. Read up and see what sorts of questions others are asking. If yo think of something you can't find already answered, ask away. That's what we're here for.

My absolute favorite Disney cruise. We went in October last year and celebrated Halloween on board. What a treat! (ha ha) Check out my trip report below in my signature. There was so much amazing onboard entertainment brought in. We even had one less regular show because they were rehearsing a new cast.

We had a great cruise. It was the Wonder's first cruise through the Panama Canal on its way to Alaska and the chef was experimenting with several crab dishes. Since I'm a very crabby person, it was hard to take.

Susan Eagan (Broadway's original Belle) was onboard and gave us a phenomenal concert.

We also had "Ducky" Williams onboard. He's a Disney artist and he sketched several Disney characters as he told us his life story, then gave the sketches to the audience. (You can Google YouTube videos of his presentations.)

We also had a Canal "pilot" onboard to who gave us lectures about the history of the Canal.

I was on the same cruise. They had guest speakers to talk about the Panama Canal. During the crossing the normal ship Captain is no longer Captain during the crossing. Another Captain comes on to navigate. The do narrate the crossing on the outdoor PA systems. There was lots to do.
