I've not looked at the QVC deals before-are they better deals? I am planning on getting dd one for her 7th bday in Oct and want to save as much as I can

I'm hoping to pick up Lanie (and maybe Felicity since she's being retired?). QVC's bundles are usually pretty good. Also, if you live anywhere near West Chester, PA, I saw the dolls being sold at the QVC Studio Store after the shows last year. I picked up Elizabeth with her meet outfit and two other outfits there in Dec 2009. QVC was selling her for just over $100 and I didn't even have to pay shipping.

Also, in a few days, QVC should have a trailer on their site showing the dolls. I'll post when I see it.

They were on there last year. I bought them for my DD. They came with cute dress up costumes. They did sell out fast. Mine was on backorder for about a month.

My DD isn't too into dolls, but she loves the AG books. After reading Kit she said she wanted the Kit doll....so we went to the AG store in Alpharetta, GA when we were there last month. Of course then she wanted a zillion things! She really wants Kit, her doggie and the wooden scooter....not sure if she would actually play with them though as she does not play with dolls.

I was reluctant to dive into AG because my DD has never played with dolls, but she really does love them. It's more of a "dress her up and see how cute she looks" thing than a baby doll type of experience, kwim?
