Has anyone heard of this?

We were told that he 'resets' himself at the park gates- as long as he is on! I forgot to turn him on our second day at Epcot until after noon, and then turned him right back off as it was the same stuff we heard earlier in the week. I've found it easier to hear him if I clip him on my backpack strap, that way he sitting on my shoulder close to my ear.
MY Pal Mickey has been twice without me! Now is that fair I tell ya? I lend him out to anyone in the family going.
