by chance seen the show? Not sure if it fits in our budget yet but I am curious as to how long and if there is music with them etc.. Thanks in advance.
I vacationed at the Grand Floridian last summer. I was staying in a turret room (
click here) inside the main building that had a lovely view of the Wedding Pavilion. I was in my room one afternoon when I heard a loud
BOOM! outside. I looked out the window and saw fireworks going off at the Wedding Pavilion. The fireworks show was very brief (less than a minute), so I didn't have time to grab my camera to take photos (drats!). I didnt hear any music (my window was open). If you have seen fireworks go off at the end of a show inside a theme park during the day, the fireworks at the Wedding Pavilion looked pretty much like that (mostly white smoke since fireworks colors cant be seen too well in the daylight). I was glad that I finally got the opportunity to view them. They looked very nice.
For my custom vow renewal two years ago, I decided to suprise my guests with a custom fireworks display. Disney's Pyrotechnics Team took a song that I had selected (and that Disney had blessed) and created a fireworks show around it. For me, it was the most nerve-wracking part of planning my vow renewal. Once I signed the contract for the fireworks, the ball was set in motion and those fireworks were going to go off come hell or high water. There was no turning back. Fortunately for me, the night of my vow renewal was perfection. There wasnt a cloud in the sky, only a full moon and a lunar eclipse.
Background Info: My vow renewals dinner party was held after-hours inside the Disney-MGM Studios Theme Park. After a progressive dinner party inside the Great Movie Ride attraction, my guests moved outdoors for a dance party beneath the Sorcerers Hat icon. When my dance party ended at 2 AM, the DJ asked everyone to stand in the street in front of the Sorcerers Hat. It was from there that we watched the fireworks show (the fireworks were set off from the rooftop of the Great Movie Ride).
I havent gotten around to sharing many photos of my fireworks display, but I do have two in my on-line photo album:
Fireworks Photo # 1
Fireworks Photo # 2
You can also see a few more fireworks photos at the end of my slideshow:

Disneys Pyrotechnics Team did a lovely job with my custom fireworks display. It was the most magical way to celebrate 20 years of marriage.
