Has anyone had Room Service at the Polynesian????

Just thinking about a few breakfast ideas for an upcoming trip....Im staying at the Polynesian for the first time and was wondering how the room service food was..........thought it might be nice for a couple of mornings.

As an alternative to room service, I had my Dh go to the Kona Cafe and get our breakfasts to go. That way, I could stay behind and get myself and the kids ready while he was getting breakfast. I am too cheap to pay for room service, so this was a good alternative for us. I don't have any experience with actual room service, but I thought I'd throw this idea out there for you!

Room service at the Polynesian is great. The food is good and service is prompt. You can fill out an order card the night before and hang it on your doorknob and breakfast will be delivered within the 1/2 hour time slot you request. It always seems to come at the beginning of that slot for us which is great. Barbara or Nancy take the orders and they are friendly and helpful. You can even order the famous Tonga Toast! My DH and one of our sons are there right now. Two more days until my DD and I go! One of our newer traditions is getting room service breakfast on check-out day as we enjoy the resort for the last few hours.
